Finalist, Most Innovative Mobile App 2012
The Good Days app is simple to use. Selecting an icon to answers how you are today brings up a personalized five day wellness forecast. Use the app to journal your condition. This additional information is combined with data from your device and the current environment to provide more and more accurate predictions.
Technology: Good Days is patient empowered quantified health, an example of emerging P4 medicine that is predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory. It generates a personalized health forecast using artificial intelligence techniques like machine learning and predictive analytics. Each day the app learns what contributes to good days and triggers bad days. It uses data supplied by the City of San Diego, including ozone, pollution, weather, and microzones throughout the county. This data, combined with geo-location and user supplied information, serves as the input to find patterns and build a personalized prediction model.
News: We have started a new project involves building a live map from anonymous data collected through the Good Days app, providing a warning system that alerts about which areas of San Diego increase the risk of adversely provoking the immune system of affected individuals. San Diegans that would like to participate in the project and improve the life of everybody with immune conditions are invited to sign up.
